The staff in the Independent living section has been amazing. [name removed] showed me around and is one of the main reasons we went with Brookside. The head nurse [name removed] is very caring and supportive. Her follow through when incidents occur is amazing. [name removed] from activities had a huge heart and so caring to the residents. All of the nurses I have interacted with have been carrying and helpful. My sister currently has to be hospitalized and they are in constant contact with me making sure that …

The facility is clean, the staff is attentive. I noticed a decline over the last couple of months and then it was announced that Corewell sold the property. The new owners took over [date removed]. It is now called Brookside Commons. The food definitely needs improvement. They also need more activities.
