Callahan Village Assisted Living

A welcoming place for my mom.

My mom found the right amount of care and assistance she needed to live day to day. It has given her peace of mind that she is in a safe place and is well taken care of. All of the people have been so caring.

Our family's experience

My mom is very well taken care of & the staff are very friendly & attentive. They provide transportation to doctor appts. They also take residents on outings & have special meals on holidays. The facility is clean & spacious. I should also say that my mom was there several years ago while recuperating from a broken pelvis. I had been speaking to the community contact for the last couple months in preparation for an upcoming move. She has been quite helpful and informative. On a quick recent visit to the area, I made an unscheduled visit to Callahan Village. My contact was not available, as expected on a Sunday, however the front desk staff was most helpful. The development is very nice. We are looking for independent living at this time, but will consider this when we progress to assisted living in the future.

Callahan Village was clean, relatively new and nice. Some of the rooms on a busy street side had road noise even with the windows closed call [name removed] that may have been due to the fact that the air conditioner was not in place. The other side was perfectly quiet. But then I am exquisitely sensitive to Rd noise. I did not get to tour the two bedroom units in the cottages because they were all occupied, but I put in a reservation to be on the waitlist for them. I visited this facility

Callahan Village was nice. We toured their independent living community, and the rooms all seem very small to me. Other than that, everything looked really good and in good repair. The people were also friendly. The person who gave the tour was very friendly and very knowledgeable. We also checked their dining area, and it was nice. It's clean and everybody there was happy.
