I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

When my sister had to find a place for her husband who has Alzheimer's, this facility obviously needed to fill a bed and gushed all over about how she would not have to worry about him , etc., etc. They promised more than they are. She brought him there on July 8, 2025. As is normal, he regressed and on December 30, they made a phony excuse for sending him to Auburn Hospital because they did not want to care for him anymore. They are refusing to take him back and she is having trouble finding a facility to pla…

I wasn't too impressed with Camillus Ridge Terrace. It's very small. They have a dementia center, which didn't seem all that exciting. It wasn't a bad place, it was a nice looking community, but it just wasn't a good fit for my mom… They showed me the dementia ward and told me that's where my mother would have to go to start. I didn't like that. I don't want my mother to start there. That is what turned me off about the place. Also, they didn't accept all pets; they acce…

At Camillus Ridge Terrace, the people were very nice. The facility looked nice; the bedrooms didn't seem like hospitals. They were a little bit homier and a little bit less institutionalized.

My mother is already settled in Camillus Ridge Terrace. What I like most about this one is the location, just because all of my family is already out in Camillus, so having her nearby is nice. The residents, when we were touring, all seemed very happy and they have activities happening all the time, so that's huge. They have music pretty much every day, which I know makes my mom happy.
