CriticalDo not use this place. We only took my father here because his insurance wouldn't allow anywhere else. He went in for a 21 day rehabilitation for his amputated leg. They lost his clothes, wouldn't answer our calls. We would call them at least 5 times before anyone would answer and I wish this was an exaggeration. On the day my father was discharged he was completely out of it (He was not like this previously), and any time he was touched he was screaming in agony. We were able to get him outside and to th…

PositiveCanterbury Health Care Facility has the memory care unit that my grandmother needs. They bring people in to help with her memory and they also have a full nursing staff on duty during the week (as they're not fully staffed on the weekends). They're really helpful with information. If something goes wrong with her, they're immediately calling us and telling us what's going on or what they need to do. They're informative and they stay in touch with you on your loved one's condition. They…

CriticalMy loved one died alone at Canterbury Nursing facility. I was told that I would be able to be with my loved one while actively dying. This was not that case. I was called only to tell me she was dead. If you care about your loved one at all, this is the last place I would take them! They are only there for the money. The staff does not seem to care at all. This is from the top of the facility to the lowest they have. Please think twice if you want your loved one to have care. Because, they do not.

CriticalMy mother was in respite for 5 days from 28 December till 2 January. When my mother was picked up to be delivered to Canterbury she was in good condition, she was able to get up on her own go to the bathroom even though I needed to be there to ensure put on a clean pad and depend she wiped herself and washed her hands afterward. When she came home on the 2 January 2021 she was in so much pain and looked awful. She had on a diaper, hospital gown, and her right arm and right wrist you could not touch. Her right wrist…

PositiveWonderful staff, took great care of my father.

CriticalThe rooms are rather bleak. Clothing either gets mixed up or lost. Relative dressed in clothing that wasn't his. Responses to "alert button" are dismissed. Residents will starve if a particular shift is working. There seems to be no form of oversight/management. NEVER did I see a single physician in 5 months. No one returns calls.
