PositiveCanterbury House was kind of old. They were upgrading, and they were making proper upgrades. The apartments were a little old, but they were still nice. They were average. The staff members were friendly and helpful. They were easy to communicate with. They answered all the questions. I believe if my sister had moved in there, they would have been supportive. I had lunch there the day I viewed the building and the apartments and all that, and it was really nice. It was fried chicken, some mashed potatoes, and coles…

PositiveStaff was great very attentive to Moms needs. Everyone was accommodating. They explain everything to us. Facility is under renovation in some of the buildings. So cleanliness was lacking. Overall I would recommend Cantibury House.

PositiveI put my brother in Canterbury House Assisted Living last Friday. I'm very happy with it. We spent about several hours over there, and I was very pleased with them and their staff. We ate breakfast there that Friday morning, and it was good. I didn't have any problem with it. The facility's condition is topnotch. In fact, when we were there, they were painting the walls. A lot of maintenance was going on, and they're upgrading everything. I was impressed.

CriticalI visited my dad at the Canterbury House. I don't think they keep it very clean, and to me that's important. I also don't think that they do a very good job of communicating all the time; sometimes they do, but not always. The room is fine if they keep them clean. We tried quite a bit of their food, and it wasn't bad. It is bland, but I understand why they make it that way for the residents, 'cause a lot of them can't handle spices. For my own personal taste, it was OK, but my dad seem…

PositiveMy in-laws stayed at Canterbury House. I particularly liked it. The only problem was they didn't offer memory care. It's very nice and they had a little studio apartment. They washed their clothes and did their housekeeping. It was just a really good place, but they mainly just stayed in their room because he could get out of their room and get out on the street there. The staff was good, the facility was nice, and the pricing was very good.

PositiveAt the moment my father is not able to participate in activities but they are offered. The community is kept extremely clean and organized. He does seem to enjoy the meals that are being provided for him. The meals are healthy and the portions are good. I would absolutely recommend the community Canterbury House.
