★★★★★
PositiveFirst, we live in New Mexico and have not personally seen CaraVita. I was involved with making arrangements for my brother, [name removed] to live there. My only experience was with [name removed]. [name removed] was very helpful & professional in arranging [name removed] residence at CaraVita.[name removed] has voiced no complaints about facilities or staff.
★★★★★
PositiveThe rooms are large and the staff make you feel at home. They have made a lot of changes in a positive way.
★★★★★
CriticalThe rooms are kept up but however the carpet is nasty and outdated. Some smell like urine. There are no activities and everything is very controlling, so residents are mainly restricted to their rooms.
★★★★★
CriticalMy father was a resident at CaraVita Village independent living. We moved him out last week. I did not try the food this past week, but before, it was good. It was adequate. The room was adequate, but the upkeep of the place was declining. My father was going to hang in there, but they were eliminating all of the activities. I think they're trying to sell the place.
★★★★★
PositiveI toured CaraVita Village. It's good. I just didn't like the facility too well. It was not as upkept as I thought it would be. It's kind of outdated. The person who gave the tour was excellent. I only saw one room and it was OK. They had patios. As a matter of fact, I lived there about nine years ago. They had a nice dining area, cafeteria style.
★★★★★
PositiveOur love one feels well supported and at home. The staff and residents are very hospitable and the facility is elderly friendly.. The faculty & staff goes far and beyond to accommodate the needs of the residents. We are well pleased??
