I visited this facility

The assisted living facility of Cardinal Place in Cambridge was beautiful, but it was way out of my price range. They also only do self-pay and don't take Medicare or Medicaid. It would have cost me $10,000 a month to stay there. Everything is first class there. It's probably not, but it looks brand new. We did a walkthrough mostly in the hallways. We also looked in a room or two, and they're nice, very roomy and very airy.

The staff are extremely kind and out my mom's needs, as all of their residents, a high priority. They are responsive to her feelings and concerns. The activities director, [name removed], is a wonderful asset to this community! She shows great compassion, empathy, and enthusiasm with the activities that she plans and carries out! Not recommended

Most of the staff are friendly, but they don't have enough coverage on the weekends and nights. Also, keep all valuables locked up. My loved one had money and food taken from her room through the night. Housekeeping was good, but then had to rush to kitchen to make meals. Lots of supervision, but not enough help. I wouldn't recommend due to the kitchen itself.

If you are looking for a place to call home, look no further! Cardinal place has such caring educated staff, great management in place and such wonderful residents. There are so many engaging activities and feels just like home. 10/10 recommend.

Cardinal Place Recomendation

A lot of interpersonal attention from a very stable high quality staff. This modern facility is very well maintained and spotless. Great value. It meets and passes the eye test!!! When the time comes when I need an assisted living facility, Cardinal Place is first on the list.

First and foremost, my dad is very well taken care of and the staff is wonderful to him and our family. The rooms and facility are comfortable and nicely decorated. There are a couple things we would like to see improved. The meals are unappetizing and very little variety. Not every resident has the same dietary needs or wants and for the cost of living there we think they should have better options. The issues are most likely caused by being understaffed.
