The staff is friendly and very helpful. Everyone from management to food service workers are proactive and take initiative to help when a need is seen. The food is wonderful and provides a variety of options. It is served served buffet style with help for those who need assistance. They also have snacks, drinks and ice cream 24/7 for residents. These are for when we started the process and then leading up to move in. The week before move in, [name removed] left the facility (she told us her husband transferred and they were moving). It's definitely been more rocky since she left. My in laws then found out all of management changed hands at the same time. Definitely not as great as when we first toured and signed up, but we do still love the facility. Staff and residents have all been very friendly and helpful. Carolina Pines retirement community has a beautiful campus and building. It is undergoing management changes right now and things are in a bit of a turmoil. Good services, month-to-month leasing, meals delivered to rooms, washer/dryer in each room, cleaning apt once a week, library/meeting rooms available, transportation and activities available.

PositiveExperience with Carolina Pines Retirement
We have had a lot of new staff but they are all wonderful. They don't do much cleaning. The food is really good sometimes and sometimes not so good. Sunday brunches are always excellent though. I love the movie theater and they show movies every night. Sometimes I go sometimes I don't depending what's showing. I have made some great friends here too. And we play cards almost every day! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone over 55.
