CriticalIf you are the wife of the rehab patient and are experiencing serious complications due to a spinal fusion (can't walk with a walker) these people will send your family member home for you to take care if assisted living/nursing home care is way out of budget. I will have to give up appointments/care for myself since I cannot leave him by himself. I have a friend that helps us out a lot, but she has her own family. We do not have any family members. They do not care what happens.........

CriticalOver a week ago when I came to the facility to visit my family member I noticed a dirty diaper and a sodden towel in the parking lot. I mentioned this to staff, but it is still there. I am concerned that this reflects on the level of care that my family is receiving.
★★★★★
PositiveThe rooms were very nice and comfortable. The food was very good. All of the staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive. Our loved one passed away while there and our family was treated with compassion and care. We were genuinely satisfied with the care we were given at Cumberland Rehab.
★★★★★
CriticalDon’t let a loved one stay here. Horrible nursing care, running out of wipes or clean linens is a regular occurrence. Staff lie to family members. Spouse waited 85 minutes for his call bell to be answered, so he used his cell phone to call the front desk and get through to the nurse’s desk - he could hear them talking and laughing. Nurse came in and yelled at my spouse.
★★★★★
PositiveMy dad is here for rehab and it is so clean and inviting those are the first things I noticed. All the staff I can across smiled and were very friendly. He states he loves the therapy and he looks so much better than he did before. Surprisingly he likes the food here too. Didn’t care much for the hospital.
★★★★★
PositiveMy husband was sent to Rehab after hip surgery due to a fall. The staff was very nice, friendly, accommodating & attended to his blood sugar & meds needs competently. I especially appreciate the way management helped me to manage him when he refused to go back in after a Dr visit. Meds really messed with him & they were patient, kind & very helpful with us! He needed more time to recuperate & get ready to come home safely!
