My father-in-law is in Casas Adobes Post Acute Rehabilitation. There are doctors and nurses there. The wing that he is in is memory care. There's a therapy center there for physical activity. It really does feel like a rehabilitation center. It's very clean. The staff always acknowledges us when we walk in. They're very observant of who's walking into the facility. The rooms are very small and hot with two patients per room. there were no chairs for visitors and no room for any. also there was no place on site except an outside patio area where you could visit. My sister was in there for two weeks . The food was worse than anything I have ever seen in this type of facility or hospital. the portions are not enough to fill up anyone. My brother was in Casas Adobes Post Acute Rehabilitation. He got good care and the food was acceptable. They did what they needed to do and that was it, so I can't really complain but I won't give them rave reviews either. I feel like when his insurance ran out, that was it. It was like, "Okay, he's got to go home now." And then when they realized I was very upset and I was moving him somewhere else, they had a little change of tune. Absolutely terrible facility. DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE. My Dad passed away in their care. They did not call for help until six hours after he began having respiratory problems. The nurse was rude and vague about the details when I called back to ask more questions immediately after he taken by ambulance to the ER.
