Catalina Springs Memory Care community needs some more staffing. We often couldn't find anyone to talk to about our family member when needed. With staffing improvements, we would recommend this community to other families.

Catalina Springs Memory Care was a pretty great place. The only thing that I didn't like was I think the rooms were a little bit smaller, and a little bit darker. Everything else was great. It was clean. Everybody was great.

The problem is, there were certain employees that were wonderful! Others were non-responsive, and unhelpful. One month in the CEO left and the head nurse was going through something huge but we didn't know what. Initially she was very kind and said she would be communications, and she was neither. If you put your family member there you must be an advocate for them. You must be there to follow up on their specific care needs. I cannot tell you how deeply grateful my wife and I are for the care my 96 year old mother-in-law has received at Catalina Springs. All that you do has has a huge impact on our family. As her care level exceeded what we were able to provide for her, it is a tremendous relief to know that she is in such competent and caring hands.
