PositiveI am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
My mother was at Cedar Lake Health and Rehabilitation Center in West Bend for rehab. They helped her with strengthening and then pain control. The staff was very friendly, very accommodating, helpful, willing to answer questions, and tried to make my mom feel at home. Everything in the facility looks fairly new, and I didn't see anything in disrepair. It was clean and they cleaned the rooms a couple of times a week, which was very nice. The food looked good, too.

While this facility offers a multitude of services and facilities for its residents, I was overall disappointed in the care that my grandmother received while she stayed there. They do have a vision center, small store, beauty shop, as well as a variety to indoor and outdoor gathering spaces which are very nice for residents, but I believe that the facility is too large. While they are probably following state mandates it seems that there are too many residents per caregivers and the space is too large for many of …
