CriticalThe rooms are clean The care is inconsistent There are more invaluable employees than valuable when it pertains to caring, integrity and sense of urgency. Residents are left in the hallways and sometimes slumped over with the aids aware of their positioning in the wheelchairs. There is no concern for the dignity of the residents as they are often kept waiting for care when they are ringing the call bell. Often times residents are left screaming for help and when the staff is approached that a resident needs care, t…

PositiveMy sister is in Central Island Healthcare. She's getting the care that she needs. She is on the floor where everybody is in a wheelchair, and mainly in bed. They have a big screen TV where they show some movies. I've seen nicer ones, but they didn't have rooms, and they would not take my sister. This one is working out OK. They change the bed every day. The nurses and the aides are nice. They have the laundry room. They do laundry every day and they bring it back on the hanger. This facility is good …

CriticalThe room is a solid 85 degrees. They can’t regulate it. Interaction with staff is pretty negligible. I asked for some water, they tell me I’m on fluid restriction. I’ve had 16 fluid oz of fluid all day. It is now 9.45 pm. At 8 pm, I was told no water until after 11. I told the nurse that because of the temp in this room, that I’ll dehydrated. I’m a dialysis patient and I need my medications. Been here since about 5:30, with no medication given. My BP is going up by the minute. This place shouldn’t be open to patien…

PositiveMy Dad has been in this facility for long term care for several months now and we've been very happy with how well he has been cared for throughout each and every day. The nurses and aids have all been very kind and caring. They are attentive and on top of any concern we have. Very clean

PositiveMy dad is at Central Island Healthcare and, thus far, they've been very, very helpful. His social workers are very engaged with us and letting us know his status. His RN case manager has been very helpful too with anything we need or any kind of services we need. Everybody's been very nice with the other assisted living facilities that they call and require information from. Central Island Healthcare also called me to make sure it was OK to speak to everybody, which was very nice of them. Because of COVID…
