CriticalFalse advertising saying they have nutritional meals. . If you call boloney & cheese & fried corn nuggets or peanut butter and jelly nutritious.!! Plus many times the head nurse doesn’t call you back when messages are left. They spend more money & concern mailing out notices monthly about unidentified clothing than they do on updating your loved one’s health care. I think it’s fallen under government healthcare which is no care !! The CNA’s do all the work. You hardly ever see a RN. It’s not the same since Covid & …

PositiveWe toured Chelsey Park Health & Rehabilitation. When we toured it, we saw things that none of us thought about having to teach someone who may have had a stroke like our mom. I mean, they had a bedroom set up so that they could teach them how to get in and out of bed safely. They had a car or a little pickup truck without the bed of the truck so they could teach them how to get in and out of a car from a wheelchair or a walker. They had like a little store set up teaching them how to pick out vegetables, and a …

CriticalMy father stayed there for four weeks. He was only given one bath the whole time he was there. He asked for showers and was told someone would come but no one ever showed up. He had no toilet paper for several days and asked for some but none was ever brought to him. Several times his meals were not given to him. The list goes on and on. Beware and going there or make sure you have someone staying with the person that can fight to get what the patient needs.

CriticalI have absolutely nothing positive to say about Chelsea Park. They call themselves a rehab center but I beg to differ. My husband came to CP from a long term hospital stay. He was fully expected to thrive, rehab and return home. I will spare you the terrible details but he ended up in the hospital within 3 days of their "care". He died! Yes I'm angry. I asked for information and their was very little recorded. A key employee said to me when I asked why information was not recorded on a certain day, &…

CriticalHorrible place. Pulled mom out after 2nd fall in a month. Both falls while ‘supervised’ and both resulting in serious injury. Mom is currently in hospital with broken hip and bad UTI . 911 was not called immed. after either fall . No MD associated with place- you have to fight to get a shower - 2 weeks before she had one. They claim they are out of water. I filed grievances and don’t be fooled by the pretty surroundings, like I was. Evil doings going on in there !!! Pick somewhere else. Mom walked in needing should…

PositiveWe really like Chelsey Park. They have all kinds of cards games, board games, and Bingo. They have all different kinds of things for groups of people to be a part of. All of their food is home-cooked; it is very good. The nurses are very capable and very nice. The ones I met I would give at least a five because of their dedication. My mother doesn't like the physical therapy; however, they continue to encourage her even though she has an attitude about not wanting to do certain things, and wanting to do her ow…
