CLE Haven - Bayside

I visited this facility

They were renovating CLE Haven, so it was nice. They had 12 rooms open. Mom would have had the pick of the rooms, and the facility would have painted and cleaned it according to her specifications, so that was nice. The drawback was that, on the weekend, there was no registered nurse or LPN on duty. Being a smaller place, the aides were the ones in charge of the little exercise activities. This was my first visit. Needed to adjust to the smaller community, but realize that that is what is best for my father. The property has been let go, but has hired new staff and they are make improvements both physically and in programs. Felt very comfortable with staff. Of all of the places, this is the one where he may be able to keep his cat. Won't make decision based on that, but is a factor. Has availability. My sister plans to tour early this week.
