The facility is beautiful, the rooms are very nice, and the food at the restaurant is very good. The staff members we interacted with were friendly and pleasant. However, I have some serious concerns about the level of care and response time, particularly for residents who may need immediate assistance. While I was away on vacation in Alaska, [name removed] became ill and eventually had to be taken to the hospital. What concerns me most is that the staff did not recognize that he was sick.
