★★★★★
CriticalThe care staff is generally very nice, but there just isn't enough staff. Wait times for help are long. There seems to be a lot of turnover too. The food us terrible, and my mom's meals are often incorrect. She takes her meals in her room because it is very taxing and difficult for her to get to the dining room. Her food often comes cold or soggy, like it's been sitting a long time. My mom's very first night at Cogir was stressful because she was told she wasn't getting her medication! There wasn't any follow throu…

PositiveAfter touring many assisted living facilities with my parents we were continually faced with older and what I would say dismal apartments. Some of the common spaces were appealing but the units were beyond small, not bright and cheery. Many felt depressing and I wouldn't feel comfortable living there myself much less my parents. So when we came into Cogir of Vancouver it felt elegant and the apartment was bright, fresh and modern. It was also the only place we toured that did subscribe to meals at a certain time or…
★★★★★
PositiveIt was good. My mom wasn't there long due to financial changes with my dad's care. Staff were nice, care-n/a, activities- did not participate, food was great. Everything was clean and organized. Room was just updated. They were updating siding outside too.
★★★★★
PositiveI have toured several facilities and Cogir Vancouver was far and above the best place for my mom. The staff is friendly, the residents seem happy and the facility is updated, bright and has a cheerful atmosphere. Mom hasn't moved in yet so this is my first impression.
★★★★★
PositiveWe liked the room. It was completely updated and modern. We also like the dining experience for the residents. I would recommend it. They have a very friendly staff and provide fun events for the residents.
★★★★★
PositiveI toured this facility on behalf of my brother. I was impressed with the facility the amenities and the staff I met. It was a right-sized community - neither too small or too big. Unfortunately, the facility could not provide the level of care regarding mobility that I believe my brother will need long-term.
