Colonial at Miami

This is a very nice community. The Executive Director Milton is kind and warm. He always goes out of his way to help people. The tour was really engaging and he showed how much he cared! Definitely the right place for Mom!

A ranch style ALF in Miami Gardens

Its very unique to find an Assisted Living that has a small family style feel but still large enough with all of the needed resources you would expect. Lovely staff with tons of activities. Highly recommend this community.

100% do NOT recommend

My loved one hasn’t been here for very long and I am already experiencing discrepancies compared to our initial visit. Within the last week and a half, I’ve noticed on 3 out of 5 visits, my loved one was left soiled and smelled of urine and feces, another day they had an unexplained bruise on their arm. I initially expressed that direct care is mandatory as they suffer from Alzheimer’s disease and I was met with guarantee’s and an act of what seemed to be a genuine desire to help during this difficult time. Our family had an in person tour and we really did not care for it. It was not very welcoming, it was smaller and just dark and old.

My son toured Colonial at Miami and he said that it was very nice and gentleman who runs it was very helpful. I also spoke to him on the phone and was impressed with how personable he was. We did not choose it because they did not have memory care which is what my mom was needing at the time.

Wasn't blown away by Colonial. It's almost $2K/month more than Imperial Club for a private room. Waiting on additional information from [name removed]. He was 30 minutes late to our scheduled call.
