Honestly, the entire process from meeting with them to getting my mom moved in, has gone seamlessly. My mom is really happy there. Everyone is really friendly. We don't have a single complaint as of yet. She's been there about 6-7 weeks

This is the Gardens Assisted Living building. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The room size is good and there is a walk-in closet. The rooms are cleaned once a week and the trash is collected daily. There are plenty of activities for those interested. Meals are scheduled and there is a limited choice of food.

Price was best I could find. They keep my mom busy and active Monday thru Saturday. They remind her to attend all activities, which she needs. She enjoys the meals. They get out at least once a week. The staff is kind and very helpful. This was a great choice for my mom. She has dementia, but still wants to be busy

The staff at Colonial Heights and Colonial Gardens are very friendly, very caring to their residences, and their families. Both facilities are updated, rooms are very spacious, and this community is not a chain like most facilities in the area. Colonial has been around for over 40 years. I would highly recommend this Assistance Living and Memory Communities.

CriticalI went with my mother for a tour of the facility. The Marketing Director was very nice and helpful. We found the place to be clean but almost sterile- especially in the hallways. We felt that my mom is much more independent than most of the residents there as many used walkers/wheelchairs/scooters. So at least for now, it doesn't seem to be a good fit.
