I visited Colonial Vista Senior Living and toured their independent living community for my parents. The rooms were a little bit better for my parents. The size of the room that they can get there would better meet their needs. It's a little bit bigger, and the particular rooms I looked at were 2-bedroom apartments. I toured the independent living community of Colonial Vista Senior Living in Wenatchee. It's not as warm as the other facility I looked at. It's very business-like. The interview went really quickly, and there was no time to really talk. It's like they were on a set program, so I felt a little rushed. Colonial Vista Senior Living looked like it was very comprehensive. It had a lot of stuff. The only downside is that it is pretty large. It consisted of four buildings that were all connected with skyways and stuff, and for my parents, I think it would be a little bit overwhelming. The staff members were great, though. It also seemed nice and clean and all that.

My father-in-law recently moved into the Assisted Living Facility at Colonial Vista in Wenatchee. Our experience with the move was wonderful. The facility is vibrant, bright and clean. My father-in-law's apartment has been recently updated. The bathroom especially is great for his mobility issues. The maintenance guy has been very responsive to our minor repair requests and worked above and beyond to get my FIL's television working. I toured Colonial Vista Senior Living. I liked that the staff was friendly, and several residents were in the same condition as my mother. The rooms looked good. They're getting ready to do some remodeling, but the only thing I could see was that the closet doors needed replacement, and the carpet in one of the rooms was sketchy but not awful. Other than that, everything was fine and clean.
