My husband's room, a studio was spacious. He was there for a respite stay. Overall the place is kept very clean. Food was okay. They seem to have a decent amount of activities.

I recently had the opportunity to visit Whispering Woods. Overall it’s a beautiful facility. For the most part everyone is friendly. You do have moments when things could be better like the food, and sometimes lack of food available to the residents. The staff is wonderful. I had one of the greatest customer service experiences recently with a lady at the reception desk. She was new a face I had never saw before and she greeted me and treated me as if we knew each other forever. It’s not easy when leaving your love…

I'm not very happy with the facility. First the person who sold us on the place left before we moved in. The RN was lovely. [name removed] was her name. She left after a few months. My family member needs to be given her medication and the medical staff has been decreased. The wait times are not healthy. They need more staff!!! The food is not great either. We rescued my mother from their complete lack of care this spring. Food and water delivered to her room was left unopened. I threw out many bagged meals. Mom lost 22 pounds in 4 months and was dangerously dehydrated. She spent a week in the hospital after the rescue to treat an open bedsore, extreme dehydration and malnutrition. She had begged me to get her out of there.
