It took my sister about four months to adjust to the routine at Cordata Court. She is currently doing very well. The regular routine has had a stabilizing influence on her. The staff have been friendly and supportive of her move to the facility. More direct staff involvement while my sister was a new resident, such as her taking her to activities, would have helped in her adjustnent to her new home. My Dad's experience there was good. Sometimes he wasn't always happy with the caregivers. But my Dad is not always easy to please. He enjoyed going to the dining room and got to meet a few people he enjoyed. He especially liked the soups there to eat. My Dad is almost completely blind so there were activities he could not participate in. He enjoyed Tuesday afternoons, cocktail hour or "old fashions" as he called it. Staff is friendly and helpful. My sister likes the activities. She REALLY dislikes the food. The parts of the building I see are clean. Her apartment is a good size for her. Weird thing: A/C in hallways and common places but not in her apartment.

The staff were very kind and helpful. Wendy, the sales person , was exceptionally helpful as my sister transitioned from living in her home to a senior facility. One suggestion is for the facility to increase the staff's outreach and involvement to help residents participate in daily programming.
