#1-6 = 5 #7&8 = undetermined as for now as I've not observed activities & too soon (only 1 month) for "value". Mom is in better "spirit" than I've seen in couple yrs. Seems more alert & certainly moving around better. Overall I've quite satisfied and happy to see Mom doing better. Thank you again for your guidance in this most difficult process.

Positivemazing Staff and Environment
The staff was always friendly. They treat everyone like family. My mom loved them!!! I love them!!! Yes, we would recommend this community to other families!!! When my mother passed in January the staff got together and gave me a beautiful lamp. Every time I look at that lamp I don't just think of my mom, I also think of how wonderful everyone was to my mother. They truly made her happy. I am eternally grateful to the whole staff at country cottages!

We moved our aunt from her previous assisted living home to the Cottages about a month ago, and she is much happier now. She is so pleased with the menu here and brags about how her room is being cleaned regularly. My sister and I visit every week for about half a day and while we’re here there’s someone from the staff who comes in to check on her a couple of times. My dad, [name removed], has had a very good experience at Country Cottage in Decatur. The admission process was simple and pretty much seamless. The food is good. There are plenty of activities for the residents and they get just the right ratio of attention and privacy. If there is an issue, the staff is on top of it. I would recommend Country Cottage to anyone else in need of elderly care.
