CriticalI liked where Country Meadow Village is situated. It is in a quiet, almost kind of country area, and the people are very friendly. I had lunch there and I wasn't impressed. The food wasn't that great. It was kind of nursing home quality food. The facilities were clean, quiet, and well insulated so that you weren't hearing a lot of noise around.

PositiveThe wellness staff was always accurate and timely with the meds. Mom condition improved some when she moved into Country Meadows. I attribute this to her reliably getting all her meds on time. The unit was perfect.. It was a 2 bedroom 2 bath so, my out of town brother could stay in the unit when he flew to town. The staff was very caring and compassionate right up through Hospice, in the unit. They all seem willing to jump in and do whatever is required.

PositiveWe visited Country Meadow Village. If mom goes up there in the condition she's in now and then gets worse, we have to transfer her again, and that's not something we're looking to do. We want to get something where when she does go, they're able to handle her throughout all stages of problems. The staff seemed pretty experienced. Everything was clean, neat, and well taken care of, and they have a variety of things there, like the courtyard, and mom could get out and do a little bit of gardening …

PositiveI toured Country Meadow Village. They're very friendly people. The facility is a little dated, but parts that we looked at have been updated and refreshed. Everything was very clean, warm and inviting. The staff who gave the tour was very knowledgeable and caring. There is a courtyard and it's beautiful. There are fountains. Residents can join in on gardening. There's a pathway. It's very well-maintained and landscaped.

PositiveCountry Meadow Village is next door to a hospital. The community was pleasant and the grounds were very handsome. They had a good selection of support people in different fields. The apartment was modern and plenty spacious enough for my needs. The staff during the tour was very good.

CriticalWhat I liked the best about Country Meadow Village was its location and it seemed warm and welcoming. What I liked least about it was there were no little balconies. Some people like me want a little area where we could have our own flowers or a little patch of green. It's an older place. It's like 30 years old. It could use some upgrades. The staff was very friendly and thorough. It was very clean. It's just older and outdated. They had a salon, a small courtyard, and a very nice dining area.
