CriticalHorrible , dirty, staff while a few good people most are contractors and don't care or have a clue what they are doing . Nursing leadership and staff were just mean and angry. Communication was so frustrating, the hand off between shifts was non existent and many mistakes were made. My mom got worse and we ended up pulling her out of there. If you love your parents, don't take them there.

PositiveI have lived in independent living at Covenant Shores since 1995. During that time my husband had to be in the Health Center for 2 1/2 years. He received excellent care. Now the Health Center is again in excellent shape having gone through some problems in the recent past. The activities director in the Reflections department now is helping each individual express interests. Music, art, social outreach, memory support are there. CriticalThe memory care unit "Reflections" is a disheartening place. It's a system based on the belief that people with dementia should be locked away and left to watch the same station on t.v. day in a day out. Some of the staff are excellent, but the rest are either sarcastic or disinterested, and seemingly just there to collect a paycheck. Buyer beware.
