Crystal Terrace of Klamath Falls

The staff are very attentive and it was an informative tour. The rooms are clean and spacious. Overall, I found the amenities to be what I want for my mom if she decides to move in. At the moment, she has decided she isn't ready. The other tenants I talked to all recommended Crystal Terrace.

The ambiance at Crystal Terrace of Klamath Falls was very, very pleasing. The dining situation was in tablecloths out there, and they kind of served you with a waiter. I got to witness the activities going on, which was very pleasing to see. They have an exercise room and an indoor pool. The cleanliness was very good. They give you a courtesy of cookies for just coming in and visiting. The staff was very, very hands on. I saw a lot of them in the halls attending to the residents, so I witnessed a lot of staff there…

Loved one was well cared for

Memory care is a difficult environment for staff and residents. I found the staff to be very caring and patient. Many residents are alone and many do not have the ability to communicate, however the staff was wonderful. My family spent Mother's Day with my mom, there were activities for everyone to participate. My mom passed away shortly afterwards but we have the pictures and memories of that day to remember her by.

Good and Bad

Our careteam is better now that we have a new director. The menu has improved since the new director came but seems to have not enough vegatables and fruits-we are offrered too many carbs.
