PositiveDefinitely recommended
There still is too much turnover in staff. Wash is not done in a timely manner... often behind. Communication with family is GREAT! The move process was good. The meals are also very good. I know it is difficult to staff most assisted living facilities. Staffing has improved with change in management, but I worry that the great staff they have will leave if they are continually asked to work overtime. I would definitely recommend the facility for residents looking for a warm, caring family atmosphere.

Sylvan staff has adapted to my husband's changing needs and are very helpful and friendly. They communicate with me regularly if changes occur and we work together to come up with solutions to help my husband get used to his new home. Like many senior care living facilities, they have a high turnover of staff which I feel is unavoidable in our current political and economic environment. My husband was simply not safe living at home and I feel he is in a safe and caring place at Sylvan Crossings.

CriticalSylvan Crossing is not the place for your loved one. The activities are nearly non-existent and the meals don't look very appealing. When we toured, the place didn't seem very clean and the staff were busy gossiping.

We are so glad that we chose Sylvan Crossings for my husbands brother. Sylvan Crossings offered a warm welcoming feeling with their friendly, caring staff and clean, safe secure environment. We visited almost daily and David was always dressed, clean and anxiously awaiting his next yummy meal. He was encouraged to participate in social activities and enjoyed the activities in the main living area.
