PositiveDiscovery Commons is absolutely the best. My father was in [community removed], and we moved him out of there because that place turned into a nightmare. He was so neglected and ended up in the hospital. Discovery is absolutely amazing. The director is on board with everything. She and the staff are absolutely wonderful and my dad is actually being taken care of now the way he should be. I feel so sorry for the memory care patients at Summerfield. That place is absolutely horrible and the residents are taken care o…

PositiveThe staff is very accommodating and understands exactly what your family member needs. They keep me informed, even during a hurricane. They keep my mother involved in the activities. When you walk in to the facility it feels like home and that is what drew me in to make the decision

Positive[name removed] and all the staff are so caring. They have made my mom feel comfortable in this transition to assisted living. During this past hurricane I was very well informed on how their facility was doing. It made me feel that she was secure and safe. I am blessed to find such a loving facility that cares for my mom. My mom loves all the activities and especially when the therapy dog, Thor, comes to visit.

PositiveMy daughters and I chose Discovery Commons memory care for my wife who has Lewy Body Demencia. It appeared to have a very homelike environment with caregivers who really cared. We made a great choice . It’s the people there that make this care facility so wonderful .

She was thriving there and passed away suddenly so didn't get to enjoy it nearly as long as we'd hoped. She had been alone in their house, and it was great for her to have her meals fixed and room cleaned, participate in activities, plus take up bridge again and have people to socialize with. The staff there were always friendly, pleasant, helpful, and caring. One of the things tha…

PositiveMy mom moved into Discovery Commons At Bradenton. It feels like a home instead of an assisted living facility. The staff is incredibly kind, fun, attentive, and efficient. My mom has a single room with a bathroom. It's very large and spacious with big windows. It's very clean. They have a large family room. Often, somebody is playing the piano in the family room. They had a dining area and outside porches that were pretty. It's in a wooded area, so it's a very calming area. They always have an a…
