Very kind administrators & they respond quickly to requests or questions. The staff is patient & also responds to suggestions and seems concerned & is very good communicating their concerns with me. The good is excellent! My biggest complaint is they are short staffed particularly on weekends but that's not their fault! Patience is a work in progress!

Discovery village was good at organization and several aides and nurse were very nice but several aides were not. The food was not good most of the time. They tried to be diverse in options but made it confusing. And many things were not good. The resident/aide ratio was not good. Too many rooms for the amount of aides they had so aides could take over half hour to come when button was pushed. They did come clean the rooms once a week. Room was fine, about 13x13. Shared bath was a challenge for both residents. Overall, facility was nice. Sometimes maintenance took a few days. STAFF was very friendly and tried. That said, many appeared unprepared for reality of dealing with memory care patients. Meds were missed on several occasions, and when the patient had dementia psychosis that's unacceptable.
