Wonderful atmosphere and wonderful staff!

Look someplace else.

When my mother moved there it was against my advice. Two months later she was in the ER with a very serious infection. She is now healthy but almost died. There are not enough qualified assistants. Nighttimes are particularly bad.

Don't move here

Do not even think about placing your loved one here. The staff are not trained by the Nurse they way staff should be trained. I found out my mother was given another resident narcotic. I was not called at all. They never gave her any medical attention at all. My mother could have died. The training I was told was not being given by the Nurse. They were suppose to call and report the medication error to the State. Residents lay in bed, and are sick. Know one checks on the at all. I moved my Mother out of there. Also…

Poor training

I recently had my Mother at this community. I found out after I moved her out. She was given someone else's medications. I was never informed about the incident. Now the medication could have harmed my Mother. Beware of the Nursing staff.

A nice community

The food is mostly healthy and it is improving. They do offer daily activities and mom is starting to participate in some. The community is very clean and well taken care of. The staff are nice and helpful. I would recommend this community.

I am a friend or relative of a resident

There were both positive and negative things about wynwood. some positive aspects of this assisted living facility was that the elderly had friends that were there, and they could talk to each other all day long about the good days. I also like the fact that there was a big dinning area that way the residents didn't have to eat alone unless they wanted too. My grandmother enjoyed her own private room where it felt like home, but had assistance when needed. Overall it seemed like a nice place to be except i fel…
