PositiveMom has been at Edenbrook Platteville for about three to four months now. It is nice and clean. The staff all seem to be friendly and helpful. We've been happy with them so far. I know they have church masses, puzzles, bingo, and arts and crafts. They bring the residents out to the open grounds to get some sun. Mom likes the food that they serve.

PositiveIf I had a problem there was always someone close and able to help. The therapists did a great job. The building is clean and linens were taken care of everyday. The food was excellent. Overall it was a good decision to come here.

CriticalIf you have a loved one going into Manor Care make sure they can hold it because sometimes it takes 20 to 25 min for someone to get to them to go to the bathroom. Unless of course you have status in Platteville then you have 3 or 4 people around you at all time doing your nails , playing ball or taking you for a walk. When my Father first got there it was not so bad but he went in able to walk with his walker to in a wheel chair with depends on. He fell 4 times because when no one came to help him to go to the bath…

CriticalMy mother was in Manor Care for 30 days. It was newer, nicer, bigger, and for rehab. She said the food was good. They were supposed to be giving her therapy, but nobody was very specific about how much and when. I didn’t find help in the staff. They had a huge room where they did activities, but she was always in her room and ate there.

CriticalWe had an appointment for a tour. The administrator came after 10 minutes of waiting. He didn't care if we were there or not. We saw no one talking with the patients while we were there, it was like they were there to die. The alarm even went off and n-one moved. We would not be interested in this place if it were free!
