Edgewood Spring Creek Eagle Island

My mother has moved into Edgewood Spring Creek Eagle Island. It has everything, independent, assisted, and memory care. It's very nice, clean, well kept, and peaceful. The staff is helpful. She's in a patio home. It's a nice duplex with a garage. It's spacious, clean, and modern. It's a good value. They have a fitness room, restaurant, bistro, salon, and clubhouse. The landscaping and garden are well kept.

Boring due COVID

I have a separate apartment with my own garage, it is a two bedroom which give me a lot of space. I would say its around 1,000-1,100 square foot. However it is pretty expensive. The food can be anywhere from mediocre to terrible. We aren't able to eat in the main hall we have to eat in our rooms. They really do try their best but with the cost of things and COVID their backs are up against the wall. Also due to COVID they have stopped all activities indefinitely

Staff was nice and looked well engaged with residents. Exec Director was very knowledgeable and provided good information and recommendations concerning my mom.

Loved this setting with lots of options and opportunities. Clean, well decorated and designed with lots of light. The staff was exceptionally friendly and took time to explain and tour the facility. I loved the cottages as well as other options available when needs were extended . I especially liked the community outreach and happy hour options to personally acquaint us the tone and warmth of the staff.

My mom is so happy here. She loves the attention she receives from staff and neighbors. She’s always telling me how friendly everyone is. Her only complaint is the food isn’t as tasty as she would prefer but it’s still good. The staff are very attentive to anything amiss. Ex: ice forming on her front porch. They quickly respond to de-ice. Her washer broke. They replaced. She absolutely loves her two bedroom independent living space. It really is nice. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

We like it here

They offer daily activities and they keep the community well taken care of. The food is good they offer a variety of choices and they offer desert after the meal. The staff have been obliging and friendly. It feels like you are in the country. The community is located across from Eagle Island State Park. We have a patio connected to our apartment. I would recommend this community.
