It is a smaller facility, so you get to know the residence better. The management never changed in the 3 years my father lived there. I would highly recommend the Gardens. Not the fanciest, but clean and the captain of the ship never left.

Walking in the door there were signs right away this was not the place for my mom. We did not see any residents during the entire visit. They must all be in their rooms. NO ONE was out. Red flag for me. The tour was not well structured, very ad lip. The place is currently under construction adding more apts. But it was not active. Elizabeth Gardens at Racine is beautiful. I met the manager and the nurse, and they're absolute great people. The monthly amount comes with 28 hours of service, so the meals are included, there's laundry service of up to three loads of laundry a week, and there's cleaning twice a week, vacuuming and cleaning your floors, and cleaning your bathroom and things of that nature. Elizabeth Gardens had more of an apartment-style with a kitchen, which my father wouldn't need. They were big nice units that had a bedroom, living room, and a kitchen. They didn't have an efficiency available. The unit she showed us looked like it had brand-new carpeting. They were beautiful with full windows so you could see outside. It was very nice. We toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. I thought Elizabeth Gardens looked like a very nice place, and the staff that I met all seemed very caring and friendly. Unfortunately at the time of our search they didn't have any availability, but it was definitely somewhere I would have considered as an option!

Come home to Elizabeth Garden

If you have a loved one that is needing assisted living I would highly recommend Elizabeth Garden. You walk in the front door and you instantly feel at home. The staff goes above and beyond to make the residents comfortable and safe. All the amenities that they will need are provided. My Mom is happy, and truly loves the facility and the food!!
