I had a very good experience at Silver Creek Terrace when I went there for a visit. I met with the manager who is also a nurse and spent about an hour touring me around the facility. We sat down, and she told me about the cost and the services. She was very open and very direct. The rooms were very attractive, and there's a lot of greenery around the facility. The place is also spotlessly clean. The people that work there are very prepped to serve the residents. I also saw residents interacting with each other…

I go and see my father regularly at Elk Haven. I think they are understaffed, but the people that do work there are very good and very friendly. My dad is not really happy with the food, but he is really hard to please so I can't really go by him. They have all kinds of activities. I just think they need to have more spacious rooms.

We had a thorough search for a better place for our grandmother who began staying in this facility during the fall of 2009. So far, most of our experiences with the facility have been very positive. I was much younger when visiting the facility. We were getting ready to visit it while singing Christmas carols to the members. The facility itself was very nice and the staff seemed to not be overwhelmed with the amount of residents. We all sang and visit the rooms and the tenets seems very happy to see us. The rooms looked comfortable and most patients seemed generally happy.
