Beautiful New Facility Still Working Out the Bugs

The physical facility is stunning. Bright, clean, tastefully decorated. The food is top notch and served in a dining room that looks just like a restaurant. Portions are just right to avoid a lot of food waste, but also unlimited in case you are still hungry. We have found issues with communication in terms of scheduling and utilizing events/activities/outings/services that are advertised but sometimes unavailable or just don't happen. Pleased with our choice

Staff is universally friendly and helpful. The food is surprisingly tasty and the chef is quite creative and the menu is constantly changing and seems to quickly react to resident suggestions. Our two bedroom apartment is clean, as comfortable as one could expect. This is an upscale situation and the residents seem comfortable in the downsizing required. Over all, after some three to four weeks only, I am very pleased with our choice.

Our tour guide was friendly, and the place was luxurious and well appointed. It’s clear that the monthly cost covers more than the basics. We liked the centralized structure that would make navigating easier, and the many community areas, like the library, art studio, movie theatre and rooftop pool. We didn’t get the opportunity to engage with many residents, but the few we met seemed to be comfortable and friendly.

Service is good people are mostly great, the location is both good and awful. Our apartment is right over the railroad tracks and the trains constantly blow their horns making sleep almost a nightmare. We have been promised a move to the next available apartment on the other side of the building. It is our only criticism and we should have been told about it before we signed up. We are looking for a solution now. I think there’s one out there.

Friendly staff.

The management company gives different information on the tours then the actual reality. For example they told me they had nursing staff for 16 hours per day and the actuality is only 8 hours. The tour people do no know the ins and outs of the property and need to be educated better. The in house staff is very nice though they are still getting oriented/growing pains as the building is new. Apartments are very nice and the high floors have great views. The food is ok. We were impressed by the quality of the premises. The presentation was beautiful, and it made us feel that we were in a 5 star hotel. The rooms are well appointed, spacious, with plenty of storage space, and cabinets in the kitchen. We have not sampled the dining but we are in the process of arranging an appointment to have dinner there.
