CriticalWe have pictures and video and found out that my father had a slip and fall, he laid there for about 40 mins before his friends walked in and found him. He is in the hospital and not able to walk as of yet. One of the nurses told me instead of 3 CRNs and a med tech there were only 2 CRNs and ine was no where to be found! They were under staffed and now my father is being hospitalized because of their negligence. They have no access to drinking warer and he was dehydrated. Their shower was clogged and the tub filled…

CriticalMy wife moved into Emerald Park of Hollywood. This place is horrible. Her clothes go to the laundry and don't come back. They washed her wheelchair and left her alone with no left brakes, which was a problem. When she goes to the hospital, her roommate steals her stuff. Since they changed administrators, there have been hardly any activities. Sometimes they don't even get my wife for dinner. The place is beautiful. It looks like a five-star hotel when you walk through the door, but the CNAs are far, and f…

PositiveI chose Emerald Park of Hollywood for my wife because of the facilities they had, how the place looked, and was kept. The staff are always there for her, they help, and if there's something to be done, it gets done. They help her all the time. She hasn't complained about the food, but she says they don't give her enough to eat though; the portions are small. There's not a lot of activities. They have sitting rooms, libraries, there's not a lot, but they have TVs. They don't have a gym,…

PositiveWe chose Emerald Park of Hollywood for my parents because of the hospitality of the staff. They are very friendly and very helpful. The food is excellent. Administration is very helpful and accommodating, too. The amenities are very nice. They have a microwave and a nice-sized bathroom. They allow you to bring your own additional furniture. They play bingo, trivia, and entertainment. They have the dining hall where everyone goes down to eat their meals. There is a large garden outside and a TV room.

PositiveEmerald Park of Hollywood was a nice one, but I felt like my mom would get lost in the system because it was so big. It has a very nice atmosphere. It was beautiful when you walk in. They had everything, but I just needed something small for my mom. If others want something small, or they don't want their parents to be lost in the system, I think a personal care home would be a great place for them to go. But over all, I love it. I met the director and she showed us around. They have a hair salon in there. Onc…

CriticalEmerald Park of Hollywood needed renovation. It looked old. The woman said they're going to renovate, but I don't know if I can believe her. It smelled a little bit. The closet door was missing the handles. It was just old. There was trivia going on like the activity director was entertaining the people there, and she wasn't making it fun enough. It's not updated or renovated. It was rundown. The woman who we were dealing with was negotiating the price like she was giving us a very good price, b…
