My dad lived in Evergreen Village at Bloomington. The staff seemed very caring. If you needed to speak with a nurse or one of the staff, they made it pretty easy for you. I like the way the place was clean. It just seemed clean. I like the fact that there were three meals a day, and they provided snacks also. Overall, I like the place. I don't think that there's anything that I did not like. I could eat a meal with my dad if I wanted to, and I did try one time, and the food was okay. There were activities…

Evergreen Village has provided me with an amazing opportunity to grow as one of the first tagged Volunteers. The staff here truly goes above and beyond for everyone, providing a kind and caring atmosphere that makes it easy to make new friends. I have also been able to enjoy a flexible work schedule as a student, and appreciate the help and care I received for my mother during her stay at the facility. If you're looking for assisted living, Evergreen Village is worth checking out!

No staff at night

My loved one is herr and I am seriously thinking of moving him out because I have witnessed NUMEROUS times 1 staff member in the building. NO NURSE. A CNA. Let that sink in. How is that legal in a 3 story building?? My dad is in good shape but bout those that are not? What if ab emergency happens? A CNA can legally provide transfer and physical care, not emergency care or meds. I am seriously disgusted. I worry about these people here. Do not recommend. I am currently looking for a new home for dad...
