PositiveOur families experience
The apartment size is good and it is great to have a walk in closet to easily access clothing at a good height. The staff are nice especially the permanent staff. Some of the care team may be temp staff and and don't always do things consistently such as laundry. The meals are good with different daily specials. My dad has really enjoyed playing bingo and also has signed up to work out with the primefit trainer twice a week which has really helped him build more strength and balance.

The staff is very welcoming and quickly they all know your name. This is a FIRST NAME community. Every day there is an activity schedule posted in several locations as well as the Leisure Care app. The food services are very good. There is apartment maid service once per week and the common areas are clean and well used by the residents.

I visited Fairwinds - Redmond's independent living, and it's fairly high on my list. I've had light refreshments there set out for an event. I've been to a couple of events over there. It has a moderate-income program, which I would qualify for. Then they have their regular pricing, which is quite expensive. The apartments were okay. They showed me a studio, which they suggested for a moderate income, and I am just going to be too cramped in there. They rarely have a 1-bedroom apartment in the m…

There are some employees who have been there for 15+ years which says a lot. They really care about the residents and consider them family.
