PositiveMy mother is staying in the nursing home section of Florence Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. So, I think that's going to probably be her permanent residence. She doesn't quite feel comfortable with assisted living. The rehabilitation part is excellent. They have suites there, so that is really a big plus. The staff is very, very friendly and accommodating as much as they can. My mother has been well cared for. They're attentive to her needs and some of her wants. They have all kinds of activities.…

CriticalMy mother was a patient at Florence Rehab. The therapy department was good but patient care was lacking. While there she developed a UTI and was found only after a urine test was requested by family after a fever was developed. The day after my mom was taken out of rehab she had to be taken to the emergency room because she was constipated and impacted. My mother said she felt like that the staff did not like her for some reason. I feel like the staff needs more training in patient care. I hope this review helps ot…

CriticalI toured Florence Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. It was an enjoyable walkthrough view. The staff member was very pleasant and she accommodated me with the tour. It was like an average nursing home. Nothing to gleam about. They had both private and shared rooms. They showed me an occupied room. It was an older type of facility. It was kind of dark and gloomy. The staff was great though.

CriticalRooms are not clean, especially bathrooms. Food is bad. The worst thing is the administration. Lied to us repeatedly and constantly changed her story. Never experienced such unprofessionalism. Pathetic behavior from people that are supposed to be caregivers.

CriticalI will say the good things first: speech therapists helped my mom so much; OT were very good; PT was satisfactory.. and saying that I got a lecture on he following from them: that they do not assist the residents to the bathroom plus how they risk their lives during covid… Really a person needs to be able to assist themselves in this rehab facility. Also, very nice comfortable rooms- with the exception that they were not cleaned the entire time we were there for over 3 weeks. Black nasty stuff in the towel when I w…

CriticalGood things first: therapists were good; especially speech therapy team worn my mom who had suffered a stroke. Rooms are nice in the rehab except for cleanliness; nursing staff is very busy and really if you need much assistance this isn’t the place to go; check on your family member closely. Office staff was surprisingly rude.
