Freedom Village at Brandywine

We're looking to relocate my mother closer to family in southeast PA, and I recently toured Freedom Village at Brandywine. I was very impressed. I toured Freedom Village at Brandywine. It's a very pleasant environment for the residents. It does have varied amenities there, both indoors and outdoors. The staff was very pleasant, very helpful, and very informative. It was very clean, and they had a very efficient cleaning staff because I noticed them working around the building.

I visited Freedom Village at Brandywine. The only thing is, we have a tough time with the fact that it's far away, and that makes it not so hot for us. As far as just the place itself, I have to think that's pretty close to a five-star rating. My mother-in-law was at Freedom Village at Brandywine. The experience was not good. The place looked beautiful, but the staff was not attentive, and my mother-in-law was not happy with the rehab she got there, and she said the food was always cold. She got a private room, but she had to leave the room and go into the hallway to use the bathroom, but the bathroom was shared with the room next to her. And the woman next to her got COVID, so then they had to isolate her to that bathroom. And they had to move my mother…

Freedom Village at Brandywine was beautifully set up. I just loved all the colors and the extra things that they've done in there. The area where the pool table was had nice dark green walls, like you would expect in a pool hall with mahogany chairs. They'd also cleverly use the square footage for rooms to make them seem larger than they were. The person who showed me around was very nice and very accommodating.
