★★★★★
PositiveI went to the Friends Fellowship Community. Outside of the size of the rooms, which were small, I would give them a five across the board, because they were the best. Everyone was friendly. Everybody takes care of you. They have a lot of activities. They transport you for free. They don't charge extra to transport you to places like most of them do. They're clean. They're bright. They're very friendly.

PositiveI looked at several options and Friends Fellowship Community was our top choice. They have an activities director who is wonderful about planning activities and keeping us updated on what is going on. The facility has exercise, games, and other things to keep the residents active on a daily basis. The staff is excellent. It does seem like they are short-staffed as far as help with dining. It sometimes takes them a while to get everyone into the dining in a timely manner, which sometimes means the food isn't quite a…

CriticalMy mother is in independent living at Friends Fellowship Community. The physical appearance is fine. They're struggling, like everybody else, with enough help to keep up things. The grounds are nice and they keep it up very well. The staff members are good, mostly very caring. The services have been largely decreased with Covid. The food's kind of gone downhill in the last few years. They do some things. They have exercise classes and a few activities, but there aren't as many activities as I wish th…

PositiveI have lived here in in Richmond for probably 60 years, and I've always known about Friends Fellowship Community. I know a lot of people that have selected it. It's highly recommended here in town. Anyone that's gone there, they have a nice facility, and a lot of amenities, like if you need transportation they have that. Just about anything you could want there, they're there. It's a good size. I know several people that are there, so I just decided that that was probably what I would do. I…

PositiveThey've been really good for my mom. The best thing is that we know she's set for life. Now that she was accepted, she can stay there through all levels of care as needed down the road. Right now she's in independent living, and they have all kinds of different housing options. Some are like houses, with three bedrooms, a kitchen, and a garage. Some of the apartments have small kitchenettes, others don't. My mom has just has a microwave and a small refrigerator. She likes the food they prepare. And they have lots o…

PositiveThe attention given to the residents is very good and the staff are helpful all of the time. The facility is very upbeat and has a nice community area for the residents to gather. They have a big bird cage with colorful finches in the community room that my mom seems to enjoy looking at. The food lacks variety and only has one menu option offered at each meal but my mom doesn't seem to complain about it. Overall, from my point of view, my experience at Friends Fellowship Community has been good.
