CriticalThey are consistently understaffed. The communication is terrible between all staff, departments and each shift. Waiting an hour or more after pressing the call button was normal. It was very common to tell something important to the charge nurse on the floor and then not have it followed through the very next shift or day. The answer for this was- "I don't know who you talked to." Apparently, there is no way to communicate to others, i.e. different shifts depts etc. If only there was! It was a shame…
