So far, so good. The staff seems very nice. The staff has been there long term, which is a good sign. We did just get a memo from them about some changes for the Medicaid application. Not the newest building, but it seems clean and good maintenance. Food always smells wonderful. They did put new heaters in the residents rooms this past fall. Having the doctors come in to see the residents monthly is a perk. They have a portal, which is also helpful. The docs MA is always quick to respond to any messages.

When I called to say [name removed] was ;again, in the hospital, helped facilitate the direct admit from the hospital to Greenlake. I was very pleased to see the family like atmosphere. I love the woodsy setting of the facility. All the residents seem comfortable and happy. The staff treat the residents with love and respect. The facility was clean. It is outdated and could use a remodel but the area that I visited seemed to be enjoyed by the residents. I like that the residents have an area that they can go outside and enjoy some sunshine and nature but still have security for their protection.

There's good in every place but I'll speak mostly of the bad because I don't want anyone to go there. I made the mistake of rushing my loved one out of the confinement of a hospital and into the first place where he can be free to roam outdoors & engage with people. Greenlake reeked like urine daily from the getgo but I regrettably wanted my loved one free from the hospital environment quickly. At Greenlake, I changed his diaper to a different brand & color. Upon 7 days of my return visit, the same diaper had feces…

Someday it did smell like urine when you walked in the door very rare, though.. I did feel like they could have spent more attention with them. Activity director was awesome. It's just staff did not follow through. Better than other memory care Prices.
