PositiveI visited The Glenridge on Palmer Ranch. It is very nice, but it's very expensive. They seemed to cover every single base you're there, and you can move as you deteriorate, or if you deteriorate into a more assisted facility, they take care of you until they bury you. So, it's complete, and I have a lot of friends there. They're all old, so they're not there forever, but I know some people there who speak highly of it. I've been over there to eat, and the food has been good, and the se…

PositiveI toured Glenridge on Palmer Ranch's independent living. They offer a lot of different activities, and it's a big community, so there's a lot there. They even have a theater room, and they have shows and lectures there. They're open to the whole community, too, like the whole town and the whole city. The staff is fine. I also used to visit there for my church, and so I saw them at different times, but those visits were more for assisted living in the nursing section. They're very nice and e…

PositiveWe toured Glenridge on Palmer Ranch. It was very nice. Everything is well taken care of as far as their facilities. I like the way the facilities inside look, their rooms. You can get homes or more like a condo type of thing. There are lots of options there, and they're pet-friendly. The structure is not limited to people. The people are nice and put you in a good location. The staff was helpful and she explained things correctly. In the beginning, we didn't pick up on how they were set up as far as the l…

PositiveI've toured Glenridge on Palmer Ranch on a group tour. It is in a very nice neighborhood in a planned community. It has some very nice things about it. They have adult courses and things like that. It is one of the three places in town for the people who are kind of affluent. It has a very nice gym. It's an upscale place. It's not a very old place, so everything is quite modern. There's security as you drive onto the property. It's a place that has a lot of pluses to it. They have an ice cr…

PositiveI'm going to live at Glenridge on Palmer Ranch. Their grounds were superior, and they had individual homes. I was looking for independent living with continuing care, so that facility fits the bill. They had all the amenities, including an exercise area.

CriticalThe Glenridge on Palmer Ranch claims to be Sarasota's Best CCRC. We did have lunch there. The food was not spectacular, but it was very good. My daughter noticed that all the ladies wear pearls to lunch, meaning they dress up. The whole place was high-end. It was lovely. The car that they have to drive people places happened to pull up in front and it was a high-end 4-door sedan. The facility was also huge, it had like 700 residents. The rooms ranged in size for independent living from 450 square feet to about…
