GORHAM HOUSE

I am still waiting for someone to help me schedule a tour despite having talked to 3 different people about it. No one calls me back to schedule a tour. I just get stupid messages and voicemails asking me how my tour, that I never had, was. I would not trust the care of my mother with your organization, nor would I recommend it to anyone else.

Gorham House

I chose this facility mainly because it is close to family. They really lack in maintenance staff and requests take a long time to fulfill.

Overall pleased

Overall I have been very happy with GH. They did go through a period of what seemed like some high turnover, but that's pretty common for the industry. I think my biggest frustration has been sometimes it is hard to get in touch with people. I have left voicemails that have gone unanswered, but I find when I'm at the facility. The staff is always more than a accommodating. I rarely see anybody that isn't smiling or friendly, which says a lot because they have a tough job.

We had a great tour with my mother and Gorham House staff. Our questions were welcomed and answered fully. The facility was clean and residents we saw were friendly. We were able to see the assisted living floor along with a suite and a single bedroom. We were offered to come back to enjoy a meal in their dining room. We enjoyed our visit and received a packet including registration paperwork.

Happy with our choice

The staff, both administrative and clinical have been great. The food is ok, typical of what you would expect. They have a good offering of activities. The facility itself is ok, but is in the process of being renovated. My parents are both there and have really had no complaints. Overall we have been happy and feel fortunate they got in.
