★★★★★
PositiveThe day we moved my sister in law into her new home, the staff was very helpful getting us in and out of the building (secured doors) They even offered us bottles of water. Her apartment is a very nice size and very adequate for her needs. The apartment was very clean as was the entire facility. I really appreciate the Facebook page that documents activities at the facility. I have seen [name removed] smiling face in several pictures and that is very comforting.
★★★★★
Positive[Name removed] helped make our time visiting a really great time. We brought a group of students to volunteer at the manor and they all came away with a positive look on their experience here. They seemed to have a positive impact on the residents there.
★★★★★
CriticalI'm so glad we left. Some of the staff was wonderful, but not everyone was. There's a really high staff turnover rate. I visited multiple times a week when my mom was there. When I tried to discuss some issues, I was brushed off. My mom was there for 2 years. I always felt like they didn't communicate well with me. It's less expensive than other options, but you truly get what you pay for when it comes to memory care.
★★★★★
PositiveThey are happy with the staff and my problem is not really with the staff, it's a family member who is my wife's health advocate, who also works in this field from Connecticut. My wife of 58 years is happy, that is all that matters to me. Thank you and A Place For Mom, for all your help.
★★★★★
PositiveEveryone is extremely helpful and attentive. The staff are always with the patients. The facility is very well maintained.

CriticalI like Grace Manor at Lake Morton, but it was too institutional for me. It was very clean. I love the paint colors. It was very bright and sunny. The menu I saw posted for the day was so-so for lunch. However, from what I saw, I didn't like the setup. The residents seemed to stay in one area all day. It seemed like they herded them in there and played like cattle. At one end of the room was the dining room, which didn't really have a homey feel to it.
