Apartment size was good. She had a 2 bedroom but very dark. The shepherd down program from independent to assisted living was a bonus. The medical staff was an issue. Lack of communication, misplacing her medications for days without t notifying me, constant change of staffing were all issues. The setup was nice but [name removed] wasn't fully ready to be in independent living and not sure she embraced all of the activities. They seem to be well staffed and in my mother's case check on her about every 2 hours, the food is good and they keep the place very clean her room is big enough to put a bed, recliner, and wheelchair and still walk around with walker and they do check the fridge in case there's expired food that needs to be thrown out.

The place looks nice, but they don't know how to take care of someone unless they're quiet little old lady. They baker acted mom twice. Both times I paid the monthly fee even though she wasn't at the facility that month but in the end, they wouldn't give me a break and charged me till the 11th even though we were out on the first they also sent me someone else's health records by accident, which I would think violates HIPAA regulations.

It was a good experience for my Dad. Staff was great. I don't know about activities. The hurricane evacuation was mishandled. Caused a lot of stress for the customers. My Dad had to be taken off the bus and put into an ambulance.
