The care services were not needed and our loved one did not attend the activities. We only used the facility for 2 weeks or so we can't really evaluate the value for cost. Yes, we would recommend HarborChase of Branford to other families based on the experience

Other than the food, it was not a good experience for many reasons. They didn't want to take care of my father and wanted to put him in the dementia section. His mind was 100% so it was very unsettling to the family.

My mom spent only 6 weeks in another memory care unit at a higher price facility that sent her to the ED twice for agitation and “medication management”. This resulted in a 2 week hospital stay where she fell, was restrained, over medicated, developed an UTI, and massively de-conditioned. Following this, she spent 7 weeks in a geriatric psychiatric unit.
