My experience

As for my experience I have found it to be just ok. My last independent care was so much more welcoming than I find from the community here. So far the staff that I have had contact with have been very nice and helpful. The cleanliness is wonderful. They are always working to keep up. My apartment is cleaned once a week. If I were picking a room again I would choose a two bed, two bath. I just like a lot of space. I have one of the largest 1 bedroom but I have felt crowded. As for food, it's advertised as a Che…

Lack of care

Facility is great. Room and food are great. But little care. Found my mom on the floor after several hours and they hadn't even checked on her. Billing is a nightmare. No one in the business office has a clue. I would never recommend this place and we have since moved her out.

Love the staff. Dad's happy.

What we like the most about Harmony at Morgantown is the super friendly staff. It is also very light and bright. Gourmet food. Facility has assisted living and independent living, so there is life and activity.

Surgeon with years of experience

The staff was exceedingly good and patient and caring both the aids and nurses were outstanding. The activities were impressive, and the staff helped the patients participate. The facility was kept clean and neat. The apartments were just the right size and all interactions from the time many times I visited her showed me a staff with a positive at outlook and providing great care to the patient In addition, as my cousin was going into her last days, the staff was super sensitive as to her needs. Nicest facility in looked at. I reviewed with personal care physician and though memory care requirement may be coming soon and I would choose this place. The assisted living was toured 2 times but I wanted to care for mom at home little longer with home health agency. [name removed] was very thoughtful and honest. Home was spotless I hope they can accommodate when time for memory care comes. Thank you.

After touring the facility, spending hours completing the paperwork and returning it within a day, being told they were sending someone the next day to evaluate my Mother and that if they felt her care was more than they could provide would give us a few recommendations for a more skilled facility, we were extremely excited.
