I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

MIL was there for almost 2 years. She made new friends & was doing well until dementia hit hard. She was very combative & I was impressed how well they handled her. I couldn't have done it. Great facility & people.

My father is in Harmony Sun City Care. There's plenty of room to walk around. They gave us a tour of the kitchens. There are at least 11 people working there. There are three during the day. The one at night is up 24-hours all night long caring for the residents. It was a good experience. It has ample space and it's very clean. They're very caring.

I visited this facility

Harmony Sun City Care would have been able to meet my husband's needs. They also had hospital type of beds and hoyer lifts. The price was good as well. The only thing that would be a negative on that was its sheer distance from my house, but they had a lot of pluses. I only pretty much interacted with a young man who is managing the place. I didn't really get to talk too much with the CNAs and the others, but the staff seemed both knowledgeable and willing to go a little extra to help out every person tha…

I visited this facility

My mother-in-law will be moving into Harmony Sun City Care. It's a real nice setup. It's not right in the city, but just off the city in the county area, so it's in a real nice location. It's not a large facility, so it's a little more personal and very clean. From what we've experienced the last couple of times we were there, the staff has been great, very attentive to the residents, and very courteous. The facility is well-maintained. It just feels more like a home, not a facility. I…

I visited this facility

I went to Harmony Sun City Care, and it was a nice visit. Everybody there needed care. Most of the patients were like the memory-care type. It wasn't like they were walking around doing activities very much. Pretty much all the people needed to be fed by spoon and were in wheelchairs and walkers. They had different rooms and stuff. They had one room where there were four beds for people who couldn't get up, and they would change their diapers and stuff. I liked it because it had an outdoor yard where they…

Harmony Sun City Care has wonderful staff and administrators; they really care about the well-being being of their residents. The care that our father received was truly exceptional. They adjusted his meals to his diet. He was always clean and happy. We were comfortable knowing he was well cared for.
